Between natural intelligence and artificial intelligence: skills for the future
At a time in history when artificial intelligence is redefining processes, professions, and production systems, education and skills are the key to ensuring a virtuous balance between the vast potential of new technologies and the irreplaceable value of people.
This is the guiding thread of the 34th edition of JOB&Orienta, which chooses as its main theme “Between natural intelligence and artificial intelligence: skills for the future.”
In the European Year of Education for Digital Citizenship, JOB&Orienta positions itself as a platform for dialogue on the skills of the future, grounded in the belief that human skills—cognitive, relational, social, and professional—are essential to meet the challenges posed by artificial intelligence. Now more than ever, the human being returns to the center, and human capital becomes a strategic resource.
In this perspective, school and education play an indispensable role in helping us build a more inclusive future—one that begins with developing and enhancing the human ability to “read within” (intus-legere), that is, to go beyond appearances, to understand, and to choose. Only human intelligence, enriched by experience, creativity, and empathy, will be able to guide and steer the direction of change.
JOB&Orienta 2025 will thus be not only a showcase of experiences and best practices but also a laboratory of ideas and a national point of reference for dialogue on education, training, guidance, and work—bringing together institutions, organizations, companies, professionals, students, and families in a dynamic, contemporary, and constructive exchange.
